Philly Slim’s offers a simple but delicious menu. There are three steps to placing an order: Number one is to specify your preferred cheese – Cheese whiz, Provelone, or American. Number two is to specify “wit” or “wit out” grilled onions. Number three is simply to eat and enjoy!
If you're cholestoral level and calorie count can handle the strain, Philly Slim's is a great place to order from. The sandwiches are all tasty. There's even something called a Valentine Sandwich that has steak with cheez whiz. When was the last time you saw Cheez Whiz in the ingredient list. I recommend the boneless buffalo wings and the good old fashioned Steak Sandwich with the spicy russuan dressing.

Not ordering from this place again. The philly cheesesteak wasn't that good. Also, they didn't take good care of packaging the cheesesteak-- it fell all over my desk when I opened it up. Also, I ordered chilly cheesefries and the chilly container was leaking and upside down in the bag. Other places I've ordered from take good care to package things like sauces and sandwiches. Not doing it again from this place. Very dissapointing.

Completely medicore and forgettable. Go about 10 blocks south for some legit cheesesteaks.

I did not enjoy the food.

There was an obscene amount of mayo on my sandwich and by the time it arrived it was soggy and just plain gross.

Excellent cheese steaks. Double the meat & cheese for a real power meal! Sandwiches are a great size. This is a great place to order from while watching a game on tv. This is my go-to cheese steak place! The closest Hell's Kitchen, NY gets to South Street in Philly. However, for this economy, the prices are very high. Sometimes you just have to have these cheese steaks though. Big guys who like big food will order from here regularly. Careful though, you'll need plenty of napkins.

The food is not that good and super over priced for what you get (mostly bread). The serving size will keep you slim as they don't give you much to eat. I would avoid it at all cost and other from the other steack joints.

Wafle fries were good and crispy. The Cheese steak could be better.

Cheesesteaks and waffle fries are great. Delivery is fast. Food is a bit overpriced, especially for people used to Philly prices, but it's worth it when I crave an authentic cheesesteak. To the people complaining about portion size--a real Philly cheesesteak is not an obscenely overstuffed sandwich with overflowing with meat and cheese. It's actually a fairly restrained affair, with a little meat, a little onions, a little cheese--all on a hoagie roll that has the right amount of squishyness. These guys do it right. If you want a big sandwich, they give you the option to order extra meat and cheese.

I've read a lot of reviews saying they are good but the portion is small. My experience is about the same. I ordered the cheese steak with fried onions and also got an order of cheese waffle fries. For the sandwich, there is a thin layer of meat/onions on maybe a 7 inch hero roll. It is really thin. I'm assuming that is what "Slim" in Philly Slims means. I can't knock them on taste though. It was good. But if you're looking for a big cheesesteak as well, this isn't your place. The fries were a small portion as well, in a container about the size of a fist. Your average frozen waffle fries and the cheese comes in a small cup on the size. I give them 4 stars based upon taste, 2 if I counted size. They delivered faster than expected. On a Thursday night, they traveled 10 blocks and 2 aves and was here in 21 min. And that was my total experience.

Food tastes pretty good, but asked for hot sauce and got none. Ordered onion rings, and wasn't given ketchup.

Strange experience. I ordered 2 sandwiches and an order of waffle fries for delivery. I asked for 'slim sauce' on the side for the fries. After my order, the restaurant called me to tell me that sauce would be included, but next time I should select the sauce option, as there is an extra charge for sauce. I think it's unnecessary to charge for a small container of 1000 Islands dressing, but notwithstanding, there is NO SUCH OPTION to pay for sauce at the time of ordering or of this review. The restaurant also informed me that the delivery person was on his way (to deliver to an office). 20 minutes later, I got a message (from the restaurant, not the delivery person) saying that the delivery person had come and gone, rather than call my phone. I was also told that I would be charged for my order, one way or another. I called them back, asking why the delivery person did not call. I was told that he did not have a phone (really?), and that I had been told during the earlier call that he was on his way. I think it's unreasonable to expect the customer to try to calculate the arrival time and wait outside. I then asked the restaurant if they could get the delivery guy to return, and they said OK. The odd part is, the delivery guy had just left my office, and there hadn't been enough time for him to return to the restaurant, so in order to reach him, I GUESS THE RESTAURANT PROBABLY HAD TO CALL HIM ON A CELLPHONE. Odd, because I thought he didn't have one? In spite of all this drama, the sandwiches were decent. Not stellar (I lived in Philly for a while), but decent.

Taste great... Although, I ordered double steak and was still looking for more. Very small portions!

Stick with the cheesesteak and fries. And even at that, you are paying a lot for the small amount they give you.

The food came quick and it was hot and incredibly good. Almost better than Philly itself, i did say almost.
